That's the goal but no not legally lol you should set up fair exit strategies with your group before you start building so nobody feels like they have to hide or run away if they decide to move. Think of something fair that respects the commitment of people that got in earlier but also respects the life circumstances that would warrant a move. You don't want someone to default on a mortgage and have to be forced out of their place because they're trying too hard to stay.

An exit strategy could include an allowed rental period , help with selling , temporary support from the group ex: hey we're thinking about expanding our family. so we'll pay your mortgage if we can use your apt for a bit. " Do what's best for you and what's comfortable

Likeost problems you have to get massively ahead of it which can be very boring and monotonous. On the other side of that boredom is pretty chill living 😎
